Noah's Ark Service Draws Record Crowd

LAKEWOOD-By the time the crowd settled in it was obvious this wasn't going to be the typical Sunday worship service at Cove United Methodist Church. A crowd, that swelled the Sunday, September 9th attendance to almost three-times the usual size, had come to see the Sixth Annual Noah's Ark Bell Choir Service featuring the churches renowned bell choir. It is safe to say they weren't disappointed.

"The performance was moving," said Scott Ernst, a long time church member and Cleveland resident. "The sound of the bells resonating off the walls gave me goose bumps. I don't remember when I last heard more wonderful music."
The special service, composed by Tammy Waldrop and narrated by Kinzer Habecker featured a stirring performance of Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken by Joseph Haydn.
The Bell Choir service included the Cove United Methodist Church Chancel Choir performing Bless the Beast and the Children by Barry DeVorzon and Perry Botkin, Jr. "You could just about hear a pin drop when Kinzer Habecker narrated the piece," said Reverend Jan Munsey, Pastor of Cove United Methodist Church. "It was beautiful. The audience was intently following his every word. I can't wait for next years Noah's Ark Bell Choir Service."
Cove United Methodist Church is a diverse people of faith formed by Jesus Christ into a supportive and compassionate community for Christian worship, education, fellowship and service to the world.
